Madison, Rochster, San Jose, Little Rock, Salem, IN and Stephenville, TX have either opened or will open over the next few days!
Forward Theater Company
Forward Theater Company of Madison WI, premiered to a sell-out crowd last night. They’re the inventors of the most-stolen 44 Plays poster image on the planet, (the Shepard Fairey of the Plays for Presidents Festival?) They’ve gotten a ton of great press lately. Have you seen them on TV? Check them out!
City Lights Theater Company
As the Forward Theater Company’s cast was taking their bows last night, City Lights premiered their west-coast production of 44 Plays for 44 Presidents. Remember City Lights? They’re the geniuses who are collaborating with a local high school to produce both Grover Cleveland videos! Brilliant! Check them out and send them some love.
Geva Theatre Company
Tomorrow Geva Theatre Company of Rochester, NY opens. Sean Daniels, inventor of the alternate ending concept, Festival Co-chair, 3-time director of Plays for Presidents, and all-around super-genius has most assuredly directed another gem. See Sean talk perty about the show here!
Washington County Actors Community Theatre (WCACT)
You think a community theatre in Salem, IN, can’t pull of a hit production of 44 Plays for 44 Presidents? Well guess what? They’ve done it before! It killed and now they’re remounting the show to kill again with all of us!
Little Rock Central High School
Near and dear to my heart, Little Rock Central High School premiers their one-night-only show at Arkansas Repertory Theatre! Nice! This was the first producer of the remodeled 44 Plays (after it evolved from 43), and they recently landed themselves on TV, too! Check them out. These kids deserve a ton of kudos (and so do the directors! I’ve seen their work and they are good!)
Tarleton State University

Last but not least Tarleton State University rocks their show on Tuesday, September 25th. Tarleton is the first of three productions in the great state of Texas to open.
This party has started.
